Body Scanners, Privacy

What with all the scuttlebutt about the TSA's new jobs, here is a solution to the problem that everyone should like.

A great alternative to body scanners at airports
The Israelis are developing an airport security device that eliminates the privacy concerns that come with full-body scanners at the airports.
It's a booth you can step into that will not X-ray you, but will detonate any explosive device you may have on you. They see this as a win-win for everyone, with none of the whining about racial profiling. It also would eliminate the costs of long and expensive trials. Justice would be swift. Case closed!
You're in the airport terminal and you hear a muffled explosion. Shortly thereafter an announcement comes over the PA system: "Attention standby passengers — we now have a seat available on flight number ____. Shalom."

Put him or her in there WITH their luggage too. That would cover everything. No profiling. Everyone does it and if you don't have an explosive, you have nothing to worry about. On the other hand, you better be right with GOD.

While this is an effort at humor if you've ever flew El Al out of Tel Aviv you can be asured you are safe. They do profile and are quite skilled at identifying threats.

Works for me!!

However, the liberal nut-jobs would begin to scream intolerance and a lot their bologna about civil rights, etc.

I like it! LOL, let's hope that Microsoft doesn't design the software for it.

Loved this. Takes care of both problems at once. The perfect solution ;-).
