Minorities
Minorities
We need to show more sympathy for these people.
* They travel miles in the heat.
* They risk their lives crossing a border.
* They don't get paid enough wages.
* They do jobs that others won't do or are afraid to do.
* They live in crowded conditions among a people who speak a different language..
* They rarely see their families, and they face adversity all day ~ every day.
I'm not talking about illegal Mexicans ~ I'm talking about our troops! Doesn't it seem strange that many politicians are willing to lavish all kinds of social benefits on illegals, but don't support our troops, and are even threatening to defund them?

I came across your blog through Snig's Spot... love it! I'll be a follower for sure. :)
That would be great, Mariah. I tried going to your blog, but guess I need to be invited. Will you invite me?
I so totally agree my friend. Love your blog!
God bless~

PS. Thanks so much for my award! It's only my 2nd one!!!
Yes, it's sad that our, I mean the Democrats' government, cares more about illegals than our soldiers. I understand people wanting to live here--- I really do. I wouldn't be here if my great-great grandparents had not left Germany over a hundred years ago--- and probably other ancestors that left other countries. (Can you tell I don't really know much of my geneology?) How about we kick out some of the ones that talk trash about our country and let some in that will appreciate it--- and learn our language, WORK, and pay taxes! Works for me!!! =)
Great post! As a retired Navy guy, I'm always appreciative of the support for the troops from REAL folks!
I found you through Snigs blog.
Great blog.
I popped over from Snig's place also. Excellent post!
Linda,
I think it's just my profile that is restricted. The actual blog is available to anyone:

We should definitely support our troops, regardless of our political viewpoint. I was wondering if you have any thoughts on the comments made by retired Lt. Col. Ralph Peters on the Fox News Channel about POW Bowe Bergdahl.
Thank you, all for visiting my site.
Malcolm, I didn't hear the Lt. Col. making his comments on Fox news. I did go and read it on the internet, and IMHO, I think he spoke before he knew all the facts too. We don't know what happened to this soldier, but I know Afghanistan is not a safe place to be. This soldier needs to be given the benefit of the doubt until he either escapes, or is returned to our troops. We all like to be Monday Morning Quarterbacks, and that won't win the game!
