I will be making a conscious effort to wish everyone
a Merry Christmas this year ...
My way of saying that I am celebrating
the birth Of Jesus Christ.
So, I am asking my email buddies,
and my blogging buddies
if you agree with me,
to please do the same.
And if you'll pass this on to
your email buddies, and other blogging buddies, and so on...
maybe we can prevent one more
American tradition from being lost in the sea of
"Political Correctness".

couldn't agree more and that's saying something for me...;p
why did/do you celebrate in November?
Hey, Jojo,
Thanks for visiting! I love your new background on your blog. I've been playing around with mine, but haven't come up with anything like yours. Give me some hints, won't you?
We started celebrating our Christmas at Thanksgiving when we started having grandchildren. You know how it can be...whose turn is it to have the kids which holiday? Anyway, I decided I would be the 'good grandma' and let the grandkids go to the other side of the family on Christmas day. (Okay, kids, your folks are GOOD too!)
Anyway,we usually get the kids for at least 3 days, and usually 4. It didn't work out this year because one of the sons forgot to ask for the Friday off, so we got that family for ONE day! Sigh.
It has worked out for us, and all the kids get together for renewal, and lots of lovin' on the nieces and nephews.
Anyway, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!
Have a great day, Jojo!
I love this idea! I am being the good mother this year and letting the kids spend it with their in-laws, hubs has to work, so it will be just lil' ol' me and the dog. We will be having our celebration on the 28th...
I'm sure your family loves this get-together..everyone wins and celebrates the reason for the season...Merry Christmas.
p.s. your blog looks beautiful, you should be giving me lessons!
